Gyeongju Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond (Anapji) & Cheomseongdae : Where History Meets Tranquility

Daereungwon Tomb Complex : Unveiling the Majesty of Silla Dynasty Heritage

Daereungwon Tomb Complex sprawls across an expansive landscape, each mound telling a silent tale of a bygone era. Cheonmachong Tomb is the only tomb in the Daereungwon Ancient Tombs to be opened to the public. This tomb unearthed treasures that unveiled the opulence of Silla Dynasty culture.

Ibagu-Gil & Busan Gwangan Bridge

Ibagu-gil in Choryang, Busan, is a charming street that reflects the local culture and creativity. Located near Busan Station, Choryang Ibagu-gil street was formed when people started building houses on top of the hill during the time of poverty.

As one of Korea's largest seafood markets, Jagalchi is a feast for the senses. Stroll through the lively stalls where vendors proudly display an array of fresh catches, from squirming octopuses to glistening fish. Don't miss the iconic sight of "live fish auctions," a lively spectacle that adds an extra layer of excitement to your market exploration.

 

Mireuksan: A Tranquil Retreat Amidst Nature's Embrace

Situated in the middle of Mireukdo Island on the southern part of Tongyeong, Mireuksan Mountain is also sometimes referred to as Yonghwasan Mountain after Yonghwasa Temple. This gentle giant of a mountain, invites nature enthusiasts and weary souls alike to embark on a journey of tranquility and breathtaking landscapes. The mountain is beautiful year-round with royal azalea in spring, bright foliage in fall, and breathtaking views of the Korean archipelago.

DAY 6 A Natural Oasis of Tranquility

Suncheon Bay Wetland & Naganeupseong Walled Town : Connecting Nature and Heritage

Visitors can seamlessly transition from the tranquility of the wetland to the historical charm of the folk town in a short journey. The Suncheon Bay Wetland is a haven for nature lovers and bird enthusiasts alike. The reed fields in Suncheonman Bay are thickly covered with reeds taller than a full-grown man which is the biggest colony of reeds in Korea. Just a short distance away from Suncheon Bay lies Naganeupseong Walled Town, a living testament to Korea's historical charm. Encircled by well-preserved fortress walls, this traditional village dates back to the Joseon Dynasty, providing visitors with a captivating journey into the past.

Songgwangsa Temple : A Spiritual Haven in the Heart of Nature

Songgwangsa Temple is located on the west side of Jogyesan Mountain, and is a famous sambosachal in Korea, along with Haeinsa Temple and Tongdosa Temple. Songgwangsa Temple has produced many high monks, earning recognition as a seungbo temple. The temple has 27 cultural assets and approximately 80 buildings.

Juknokwon (Bamboo Garden) & Damyang Metasequoia - Lined Road

Juknokwon and Damyang Metasequoia-Lined Road stand as testament to Damyang's commitment to preserving and showcasing the natural wonders that define Korea's landscape.

As visitors enter the garden, they are greeted by a mesmerizing array of bamboo species, their slender stalks swaying gracefully in the breeze. The sound of rustling bamboo leaves creates a soothing soundtrack, inviting.

Damyang Metasequoia-Lined Road, a scenic marvel that beckons travelers with its enchanting canopy of towering Metasequoia trees. The road spans over five kilometers, creating a breathtaking natural tunnel that changes hues with the seasons. The picturesque setting has made Damyang Metasequoia-Lined Road a popular destination for photographers and nature enthusiasts alike.

 

DAY 7 Embark on a Culinary and Cultural Adventure

Jeonju Hanok Village : A Step Back in Time

The Jeonju Hanok Village is a treasure trove of well-preserved hanok houses, showcasing the architectural elegance of the Joseon Dynasty. There are 735 traditional Korean hanok houses. While the rest of the city has been industrialized, Hanok Village retains its historical charms and traditions. Many shops in the village offer hanbok rentals, allowing visitors to stroll through the narrow lanes in the attire of Korean royalty. This immersive experience adds a touch of authenticity to your exploration, creating lasting memories against the backdrop of historic hanok houses.

Gwangjang Market : Paradise for Food Enthusiasts

Gwangjang Market was the first permanent market in Korea and continues to thrive as a popular tourist destination today. The name Gwangjang means "to gather from afar and keep altogether.” This bustling market, with its labyrinthine alleys, is a paradise for food enthusiasts and culture seekers alike.
